Dan Etulain, PhD, Executive Director

Dr. Etulain brings his experience as a successful business owner, dedicated academic, and has over 20 years experience working in the broadcasting profession in rural Alaska and training youth in video production. He has recorded community events in rural Alaska, served on the board for RatNet/Arcs and has been a member of the Alaska Tobacco Control Alliance for over eight years.

Katy Parrish, Project Director

Katy Parrish has over 20 years experience developing and implementing health related family support and training programs in Alaska and Washington. She is an Alaska Broadcasters Association, Goldie Award recipient for her locally produced radio show, “Children First” that aired in 2007-08, a published author, and tireless media reform advocate dedicated to training youth in media literacy and how to create their own media.

Mark Sabel, Senior Video Producer

Mark Sabel has over 20 years working in the commercial and public broadcasting arena and has traveled extensively throughout Alaska. He understands the television media landscape in Alaska and the technical requirements for commercials airing on local stations and the cable networks. He is very skilled at still photography including aerial as well.
